I went vegan in 2014 because of my love for animals. When I began my journey, I thought simply because something was marked “vegan” that it was healthy to put in my body. Then, I heard about a Vegan festival in New York called The Woodstock Fruit Festival and everything changed. When I arrived at the festival, I didn’t know anyone, but by the end of the weekend, I had made 150 new friends and was fully sold on the “raw food” lifestyle.

After Woodstock I decided to get serious about my health and enrolled in The Pure Joy Academy to become a certified raw food chef! I highly recommend the PJA because their classes continue to change my life for the better!

Today, I am 90% RAW and I have never felt better. I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned with you now.
